Littleton School Committee narrows superintendent search scope, approves nine policies for second reading. Sean Aherne reported the subcommittee working with Annalise Ogle Taber and Julie Lord has developed a dedicated search website featuring a recording form, survey results breakdown, and full interview calendar. The Committee unanimously declined on-site visits to candidates' current districts, citing equity and consistency concerns that would make it difficult to ensure comparable data gathering across visits.
All nine policies were approved unanimously, with one modification to policy IC/ICA changing the approval deadline from May 1 to April 1, while Business Manager Steve Mark reported the district remains in sound financial condition despite unexpected middle school elevator costs.
