LITTLETON — School Committee approves handbook amendments and financial policy at May meeting. The committee, with four members present and Chair Elaine P Santelmann absent, unanimously approved updates to the Shaker Lane Student and Parent Handbook, clarifying the dismissal policy for the Pick-Up Patrol platform to require changes by 2:15 PM and reaffirming the bus-stop adult presence requirement for grade 2 students and below. In a separate unanimous vote, Superintendent Kelly R Clenchy's administration advanced the Town Financial Management Policy, resolving prior concerns about revolving-fund language and fringe benefits.

The committee welcomed new member Annalise Ogle Taber and postponed annual reorganization elections to May 28 due to the Chair's absence.
