LITTLETON — School Committee approves calendar and opens superintendent search. The Littleton School Committee unanimously approved the 2026-2027 school calendar, maintaining Wednesday early release days for instructional continuity, and unanimously advanced nine policies for first reading covering negotiations, calendar, staffing, curriculum, special education, and English language learners. Superintendent Kelly Clenchy reported the superintendent search is officially open with applications due February 27, and the Screening Committee will review candidates on March 5.

The district has achieved a substantial decline in out-of-district special education placements, dropping from 27 students in 2021-22 to an estimated 17 for 2025-26, reflecting intentional investments in specialized in-district programming.
