LITTLETON — Planning Board schedules public hearing on draft ADU bylaw for September 3. Chair Jeffrey Yates led the board to unanimous consensus on a draft bylaw capping accessory dwelling units at 900 square feet, requiring common ownership with principal dwellings, banning short-term rentals, and limiting lots to one ADU. Vice-Chair Daryl Kent Baker, Clerk Margot Bloomstein, and members Bartlett Harvey and Mark Montanari voted to advance the bylaw, which is stricter than the original 1,200-square-foot draft.
The board also voted unanimously to continue three major projects (Bluebird Farm open space, 410 Great Road's 86-unit affordable senior housing complex, and 550 King Street retail phases) to August 6 for further review.
