LITTLETON — Planning Board ratifies King Street development decision, debates affordable housing placement. The Planning Board voted 4 to 0 to ratify the final wording of its decision on the 550 King Street Commercial/Mixed-Use Development and continued a contested public hearing on the 318-unit residential phase. Board members and the Affordable Housing Trust debated whether 40 deeply affordable senior units should be moved off-site; developer Morgan Pierson stated 70 units is optimal for affordability-focused senior housing.
The board voted 4 to 0 to continue the hearing to April 2, 2026. In an informal discussion, developer Mark Gallagher presented an Open Space Development plan for 146 Tahattawan Road.
