Planning Board appoints Bloomstein to interim vacancy
Planning Board · Meeting of March 9, 2026
LITTLETON — Planning Board unanimously appoints brand consultant Bloomstein to interim Planning Board vacancy. The Planning Board, in a joint meeting with the Select Board, voted 9-0 to appoint Margot Bloomstein, a brand and content strategy consultant, to fill the Planning Board seat through the May 9, 2026 town election. The unanimous vote came after an initial procedural vote to proceed with an appointment passed 7-2, with Planning Board Vice-Chair Daryl Kent Baker and member Mark Montanari initially dissenting over concerns an interim appointee would gain an election advantage.
Baker and Montanari shifted support after learning only one candidate had pulled nomination papers for the permanent seat.
