Park Commission Approves $2,500 CPRP Stipend, Forms Screening Committee

Littleton parks commission approves $2,500 professional certification stipend. The Park & Recreation Commission voted unanimously to award the NRPA CPRP stipend to staff member Jeff Babbitt following his passage of the national professional examination on February 7. In related business, the commission unanimously created a Preliminary Screening Committee composed of PRCE Director Alicia Day, Park Commissioner Norman H Young, and HR Director Michelle Vibert to conduct interviews for an open Assistant Director position, with all candidate screening authorized to occur in Executive Session.

The commission also approved amended minutes from its January 21 meeting and tabled the 2025 Special Events Budget review to March.
