Littleton Schools Welcome New Educators, Students Ahead of Fall Opening

LITTLETON — Littleton Public Schools is turning its attention to the start of the 2026-2027 year, posting welcome notices for incoming ninth graders and new staff even as several town boards meet this week on cemetery, water quality and public health matters.

Littleton Public Schools posted a welcome message for incoming ninth graders and other new students joining Littleton High School, according to the district's website. The district also welcomed new educators hired for the coming school year, and separately announced a used sneaker drive, though additional details on the drive were not posted.

COMING UP

Several town boards meet this week: the Cemetery Commission at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the Conference Room at the Cemetery Administrative Building; the Clean Lakes Committee at 6:30 p.m. the same evening in a hybrid session in Room 301 at Town Hall and via Zoom; and the Board of Health at 7 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom. The Board of Assessors meets at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, via Avaya.

In the schools, staff return Monday, Aug. 31, ahead of the kindergarten-through-12th-grade start of school on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
