Littleton Parks Commission elects new leadership and approves assistant director card. Kate Jacobsen was unanimously elected chair, with Pete Church, the outgoing chair, elected vice chair. The commission approved a purchasing card for newly hired Assistant Director Maureen Sammon, who brings outdoor education, municipal recreation, and waterfront experience.
Robert Rounce, newly elected to the commission, was assigned school committee liaison. The commission approved all town meeting items, including the operating budget, and reported a current net deficit of approximately $15,000 offset by a United Way grant of $15,000. A planning retreat and community beach information session are scheduled for early June.
