Littleton boards boost Elder Services revolving fund

Littleton Finance Committee, Select Board boost Elder Services fund. The committees unanimously approved a $40,000 increase to the FY2026 Elder and Human Services "COA Recreation" revolving fund, raising it from $20,000 to $60,000 to support program growth from approximately 1,200 to 2,000-plus participants expected in FY27. Elder and Human Services Director Liz Tretiak reported the department's operating budget totals $519,019, with program attendance having surged 132 percent in the past year.
The department is managing a $115,000 fully accessible electric 2025 Ford E-Transit van purchased with 80 percent grant funding and 20 percent from the Council on Aging.
