Littleton bike-ped panel pursues Shaker Lane bike lanes and sidewalk improvements

Littleton bicycle panel reviews pedestrian and cycling infrastructure improvements in town. The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee discussed adding sidewalks and bike lanes to Shaker Lane during construction and reviewed pedestrian improvements at several sites, including Harwood Road where a culvert is being rebuilt. With $12,900 in the Sidewalk Fund, the committee is considering a new request for Coburn Street and modifications to a crosswalk at Murray Park.

Other discussions included converting a state road to town control and an Advisory Shoulder pilot on Lakeshore Drive.
