Light and Water Commissioners approve Water and Sewer FY27 budgets

LITTLETON — The Littleton Light and Water Commissioners unanimously approved fiscal year 2027 budgets for the Water and Sewer departments during a March 3 meeting, setting Water at $6,862,001 and Sewer at $2,443,123. The board voted unanimously on town meeting articles appropriating $1.9 million in water retained earnings, PFAS settlement funds, and both department enterprise funds. General Manager Nick Lawler announced receipt of $1.1 million in federal funding for sewer expansion, confirmed during a recent Washington trip.

The board also unanimously approved a connection deferral agreement at 585 King Street and denied a betterment abatement request at 423 King Street.
