Light & Water Commissioners · Meeting of June 24, 2026
Littleton Light and Water Commissioners voted unanimously to shift $628,800 across departmental budgets, approving transfers of $600,000 to Water Capital Improvements, $1,800 for the Whitcomb Avenue PFAS project, and $27,000 to Sewer Salaries and Wages. The board determined the Battery Energy Storage System project with Citizens Energy was no longer viable for the Parlee Garage site after Citizens Energy faced financing challenges. Separately, commissioners reorganized, electing Dick Taylor as Chair, Melissa Hebert as Vice Chair, and Joseph Knox as Secretary.
Commissioner Hebert presented General Manager Nick Lawler's performance review; the board authorized Chair Taylor and Vice Chair Hebert to execute Lawler's contract documents specifying wage adjustments for the remainder of his three-year term, contingent on continued goal achievement.
