Light and Water Board Approves $18,500 in Community Grants

Littleton Light and Water Commissioners approve $18,500 in community grants. Commissioners Joe Knox, Melissa Hebert, and Dick Taylor unanimously approved a $2,100 grant for an EV charging station at Shattuck Street and a $16,400 grant for a Town Clerk storage shed. General Manager Nick Lawler reported the Electric Light Department had a strong 2025 and spent 281 percent of required spending on energy efficiency programs.
Water and Sewer departments presented FY27 budgets with higher costs as the Sewer Department manages startup expenses from its newly activated treatment plant and Water addresses a copper trace in the GAC media replacement project.
