LCTV to receive town funding for first time

Littleton Finance Committee reviews FY27 budgets; LCTV shifts to town funding. The committee and Select Board heard from department heads on multiple budget proposals, with LCTV Director Mark Crory noting the public television station will no longer be fully self-funded due to declining cable subscription revenue, with an estimated annual shortfall of around $47,000. Library Director Sam Alvarez reported significant usage growth, with circulation up 67.5 percent and program attendance up 169 percent since 2021.
Town Clerk Diane Crory announced her intention to retire in 2028. Total employee benefits were budgeted at $10,740,780 with total debt service at $4,467,309.
