LITTLETON — Community Preservation Committee clarifies reserve fund timing for projects. The committee reviewed Article 23, which transfers $465,155 in free cash into CPA reserves to match the town's 1 percent surcharge, bringing projected FY2027 local revenue to $930,310 plus an estimated $112,403 state match. Four projects including herbicide treatments for Long Lake and Forge Pond and invasive management at multiple town properties will have funds available immediately following Town Meeting approval if funded.
All other projects will receive allocations beginning July 1, 2026, and the committee will ask applicants going forward whether funding is needed before that date.
