Littleton Conservation issues enforcement order for sand stockpile within wetland buffer zone. Mickey Jeanson, property owner and operator of Jeanson Builders Contracting, stockpiled approximately 40 feet of sand at 6 Spectacle Pond Road within a 100-foot buffer zone without notifying Conservation Agent Tim Pearson or installing required erosion controls, prompting a unanimous 5-0 vote to issue the Enforcement Order requiring immediate installation of silt fencing and removal of the pile. In other business, the Commission issued a Negative Determination for driveway construction at 245 Foster Street and held a public hearing on New England Power Company transmission line improvements affecting wetland vernal pools.
