LITTLETON — Conservation Commission backs boardwalk and invasive species projects for town properties. Four members voted unanimously to support Community Preservation Committee applications for new boardwalks at Webster Woods and Castle in the Trees, plus invasive species treatment at Hartwell, Yapp, and Newtown Hill. Conservation Agent Tim Pearson reported the Commission is also planning a prescribed burn with the Littleton Fire Department to combat invasive plant growth on conservation land, with potential burn sites at Long Lake Park, Newtown Hill, and Mary Shepherd.
