Committee approves conservation and housing funding

Littleton committee approves $223K in conservation projects for Town Meeting. The Community Preservation Committee unanimously approved $35,000 for Forge Pond Lake Management Plan, $45,000 for Long Lake herbicide treatment, $35,000 for Forge Pond herbicide treatment, and $60,000 for invasive plant management at Hartwell, Yapp, and Newtown Hill properties. The committee also approved $48,613 in additional funding for the Littleton Rental Assistance Program.
Two boardwalk projects at Webster Woods and Castle in the Trees received eligibility approval; funding decisions were deferred pending contractor quotes. Planning Department request for a Housing Production Plan was continued to the March 18 meeting.
