Committee approves $35,000 for Long Lake management plan

Littleton Community Preservation Committee voted unanimously to approve a $35,000 Long Lake management plan. The project will include bathymetric surveys, water quality assessment, aquatic plant mapping, and sediment analysis funded from the Open Space Reserve. The committee also unanimously deemed a $45,000 aquatic invasive species treatment project eligible but deferred the funding vote pending application amendments.

Two Forge Pond projects were similarly deferred pending cost-sharing discussions with Westford.
