LITTLETON — Clean Lakes Committee reviews FY2027 funding exceeding $260,000. Chair John Folsom led the review of commitments from the Littleton Water Department ($99,600), Littleton Community Preservation Committee ($180,000 pending Town Meeting approval), Westford Community Preservation Committee ($40,000 under review), Friends of Forge Pond ($17,500), and Conservation Commission ($10,000) for herbicide treatments, management plans, and dredging work. The committee addressed concerns from resident Steve Egerton regarding a proposed development at 146 Tahatawan Lane that includes seven acres of wetlands at Long Lake's outlet, with Select Board Liaison Mark Rambacher noting interest in protecting the lakeside wetland to complete a conservation perimeter.
