LITTLETON — Charter Committee confirms recommendation to change Board of Health to appointed positions. During a joint meeting, Board of Health Chair Kevin Davis and members Matt Wayson and Kevin Baker argued that elected positions maintain independence from political pressure. Despite their objections, Chair Betsy Bohling and committee members reaffirmed the appointment recommendation with no member support changing.
The committee also advanced work on draft charter language, settling on administrative reorganization provisions that include both town meeting and Select Board authority.
