Charter Committee advances draft toward May town meeting review

Littleton Charter Committee · Meeting of February 9, 2026

LITTLETON — Charter Committee chairman Betsy Bohling updates Select Board on draft progress. The committee, working for more than a year, will hold a public forum February 28 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and expects to deliver a draft to the Select Board by May. Bohling sought guidance on balancing elected and appointed positions to ensure the charter passes at a future town vote.

Board members recommended early presentation of completed sections, clear identification of consensus items and controversial ones, and listing of top priorities. No votes were recorded on Charter Committee matters.
