LITTLETON — Charter Committee advances draft charter with revisions on Select Board, Parks roles; schedules public information session. The committee agreed to language retaining a prohibition against Select Board members simultaneously holding other elected town offices while including transition provisions, and clarified authority boundaries between the Park and Recreation Commission and the Town Manager. Karen McCloskey will coordinate visual materials for the February 28 public information session, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 103.
Chair Betsy Bohling will discuss next steps with the Select Board, with a target presentation to Town Meeting in the fall.
