Board of Health approves two septic system variances

Littleton Board of Health approves septic system variances for two residential properties. Kevin Davis served as chair and Daniel Kane participated in the March 25 virtual meeting. The board unanimously approved variances for 9 Woodland Drive to allow fill and a retaining wall within 10 feet of the property line, along with groundwater reduction from 4 feet to 3 feet and a single deep hole at the proposed site.

For 17 Worcester Drive, the board unanimously approved a variance to replace an existing cesspool with a Perc-Rite Dispersal System on a 1-bedroom property, with setback distances of 5.5 feet from the septic tank to property line and 6.5 feet from the soil absorption system to property line.
