Littleton Light and Water Commissioners dismiss Open Meeting Law complaint on public safety grant. The Board voted unanimously May 20 to find no violation regarding a June 2025 meeting where commissioners approved a one-time $15,000 grant to the Littleton Police Department. General Manager Nick Lawler confirmed the meeting was properly posted under Massachusetts General Law with all five commissioners present; minutes were recorded and approved at the August 13 meeting.
The commissioners also denied a betterment abatement for 20 Meetinghouse Road, where a property owner sought to reduce her sewer assessment after converting the property from residential to commercial use; the standard rounding practice resulted in a three residential equivalent unit assessment.
