Board defers decision on 100 King Street habitable space conversion

Littleton Board of Health seeks updated plans for 100 King Street third-floor conversion. The Board continued a public hearing on a proposal to convert attic space to office use, citing concerns that the conversion would add three rooms to the property, increasing the total to 11 rooms and exceeding the four-bedroom septic system's capacity. Chair Kevin Davis suggested a wall removal could bring the count to 10 rooms, within septic limits, if a deed restriction is placed on the property.
Separately, the Board unanimously advanced advertising for a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Board's Tobacco Regulation, anticipated for May 27, 2026. The Board advanced an RFP for a regional substance abuse specialist position covering six towns, with Littleton designated as lead community and an anticipated July 1 start date.
