Littleton library board approves delayed opening and advances programming plans. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved a delayed opening on Tuesday, March 18 to 1 p.m. for all staff. Library Director Sam Alvarez reported that the annual budget has been submitted to the town, and the library will launch a seed library on February 15 and host a Littleton Reads event on March 19.
The Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library added 42 new members in January and raised approximately $1,300 from book sales and $400 from a Love Your Library cookie sale, with a spring book sale planned for the first weekend in May.
